Visionmill Limited ("we", "us", "our") operates the BP Companion mobile application (the "App"). This page explains what data the App handles and how.
BP Companion stores your blood pressure data only on your device. We do not operate any server that receives, stores, or processes your health data. We do not sell, share, or transmit your data to any third party.
BP Companion collects and stores the following information, entered by you or imported from Apple Health:
This data is stored locally in a database on your device. We do not have access to it, and it is never transmitted to Visionmill Limited or any other party.
If you choose to connect BP Companion to Apple Health, the App can:
This exchange happens directly between the App and Apple's HealthKit framework, on your device. Apple Health data is governed by Apple's own privacy protections; we do not receive a copy of this data on any server, and granting or revoking access is entirely under your control via iOS Settings.
You can review or change BP Companion's access to Apple Health at any time in Settings > Health > Data Access & Devices > BP Companion on your iPhone.
The App allows you to export your data as a CSV file or a PDF report, for your own use (for example, to share with a doctor). These files are generated on your device and shared using the standard iOS share sheet — at your direction, to a destination you choose. We have no involvement in or visibility of this process.
All data is stored locally on your device using a local database. If you delete the App, this data is deleted along with it, except for any records you have separately saved to Apple Health, which remain in Apple Health under Apple's own policies.
We do not retain any copy of your data, because none is ever sent to us.
BP Companion does not integrate any third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking services. No data collected by the App is shared with advertisers or data brokers.
BP Companion is not directed at children and is not intended for use by anyone under the age of 16.
Because all health data stays on your device and we never receive a copy of it, there is no data held by us to access, correct, or delete on your behalf. You control your data directly through the App and through Apple Health.
We may update this policy from time to time, for example to reflect new App features. We will update the "Last updated" date above when changes are made. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
